An eprom (erasable programmable read-only memory) is a special type of memory that retains its contents until it is exposed to ultraviolet light. The window (used to shine the ultraviolet light on the integrated circuits) is very handy to take a look at the interior. The glass is a bit anoying to get a sharp view under the microscope, but i don't know how to remove it. It's quite strong. |
