Mini light seeker robot
I bought some mini DC motors on a chinese webshop.
Perfect to build some mini robots.
Perfect to build some mini robots.
I started with drawing a robot frame in 123D Design
Then I printed the robot frame with my 3D printer and mounted the motors.
I attached a little piece of electric cable insulation on the end of the motor shafts. I did this to obtain more grip.
Next step: the electronics
I used the same basic circuit that I build for testing. The Arduino code is slightly modified to be better suited for a robot. |

I swapped the LEDs and resistors with the mini motors.
No extra driver circuit was needed as the motors only take 20mA and the Attiny outputs can deliver 40mA each.
As power supply I use the LIR2032, a rechargeable coin cell battery.

And a first prototype is already finished
